Our Process.
1: Initial contact
Meeting to be arranged to discuss the client’s needs and budget.
A fee proposal for the development of concept plans is provided to the client.
Concept plan fee to be paid by client.
2: Concept plans and construction quotation
Concept plans are developed.
Concept plans to be presented to the client.
Designer to make any necessary changes to concept plans.
Acceptance of concept plans by client.
Initial quotation for construction work to be provided to client.
Acceptance of quotation by client.
3: Contract signing
Meeting with client to review any necessary amendments to the initial quotation.
Master Builders Association (MBA) Residential Head Contract prepared.
Meeting with client to review and sign contract.
Vicway Constructions to organise Home Warranty Insurance.
Client to pay deposit (5% of contract total).
4: Plan development and preparation
Designer commences work on plans for Development Application or Complying Development Application.
Meeting with client for review and acceptance of final plans.
5: Submissions and approvals
Organise reports required for Development Application or Complying Development Application.
Finalise and submit application to Council or Private Certifier.
Liaise with Council or Private Certifier regarding application.
Review approval conditions and discuss with client.
Order Engineers details.
Organise Construction Certificate.
6: Construction commencement
Site setup and commencement of construction.
Meeting with client on site to discuss construction progress and any issues.
Progress payments are made by the client at construction milestones outlined in the contract.
7: Completion
The client makes final payment and then takes possession of their finished home.
Maintenance period commences.
Final inspection conducted by Council or Private Certifier and Occupation Certificate issued.
